Originally built in the 1930s and inspired by the elegance of luxury ocean liners, Top of the Rock combines Art Deco style with spectacular modern-day vistas. From the 70th-floor observation deck, enjoy uninterrupted views of the Empire State Building, Central Park, the Hudson River, and the Manhattan skyline.
As part of your admission, step aboard The Beam Experience, an exhilarating attraction inspired by the famous 1932 Lunch Atop a Skyscraper photograph. Securely seated on a replica steel beam, you'll be lifted approximately 12 feet (3.6 metres) above the observation deck before gently rotating, recreating one of New York's most iconic moments while taking in spectacular city views.

Additional Information
Guests must wear closed-toe shoes or sandals with a secure heel strap. Hats, glasses, and loose accessories must be securely fastened.
No personal items are permitted on The Beam. This includes phones, cameras, bags, keys, wallets, and loose items of any kind. Medical devices such as oxygen tanks, canes, and walkers are also not permitted.
All belongings must be stored in the cubbies located next to The Beam before riding.
Know before you go
The main entrance to Top of the Rock is located on 50th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Look for the big red carpet marking the entrance on the south side of the street.
There is a security checkpoint for all visitors. Be mindful of the belongings you choose to bring with you. No weapons of any kind. Food and beverages are also not permitted.
