The Amsterdam Light Festival is a yearly event during which more than 25 light artworks are installed along the canals of Amsterdam, lighting up the water and the streets during the longer winter nights. Local and international artists and designers create artworks specifically for the festival, which are placed along the canals in a single route.
The best way to admire these artworks is of course from the water, where you sail past the artworks comfortably. LOVERS’ canal boats follow the entire Amsterdam Light Festival route, and take you past all the artworks at a relaxed pace. The cruise includes an audio guide, in which you learn more about the art and artists while you sail past them. And this cruise comes with drinks included, the boats have a well-stocked bar with a selection of favourites.
