Windsor, Stonehenge & Bath – Stonehenge entry only

Overview

Windsor

The first stop on our tour is the ancestral home of the British monarchy and the largest occupied castle in the world.
On select mornings a must-see colourful display of typical British pomp and pageantry takes place here at the Changing the Guard ceremony.

Looking at the impressive grounds, it is almost hard to believe that successive kings and queens have been living here for over 900 years. Today, this beautiful castle is a favoured weekend residence of Her Majesty The Queen.

Within the State Apartments, you have the option to explore the same rooms used today by The Queen and members of the Royal Family. The rooms here were intended to rival the Palace of Versailles in France, and paintings by renowned artists such as Rembrandt and Rubens adorn the walls.

St George's Chapel is the site of one of the most famous royal weddings of recent times. It was here where Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in 2018 in a ceremony watched by millions around the world.

Stonehenge

Stonehenge is perhaps one of the most famous Neolithic monuments in the world. Plenty of mystery and intrigue surrounds this ancient site, and its construction and origin has divided opinion and stirred controversy over the many years since its discovery.

There are plenty of things to see and do during your time visiting this famous UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Take a walk around the perimeter of the Stone Circle; an essential part of any visit
- Step inside reconstructed Neolithic houses to see how people lived 4,500 years ago
- Watch a display of ancient domestic skills, including flint knapping, rope making and grinding grain
- Visit the 360-degree audio-visual display at the visitor centre and see what it feels like to stand in the middle of the Stone Circle
- Visit the world-class exhibition centre, where over 250 objects and treasures are on display, including jewellery, pottery and even ancient human remains

Bath

Visit the historic city of Bath, where the ancient meets the modern world. Here, you have the option to visit the world-famous Roman Baths or enjoy time to explore the city at your own pace - the choice is yours!
