Overview
Florence isn’t just the capital city of Tuscany or the birthplace of the Renaissance, it is a world class culinary destination. Join us a we dive deep in to the food culture of Florence and taste some of the iconic dishes of this one-of-a-kind city. From mouthwatering truffle sandwiches to artisan breads, traditional cheeses, salami, wine, and a variety of seasonal specialties, our Florence food tours are designed to paint a full picture of Florence’s vibrant culinary landscape. Your tour starts in one of Florence’s charming bars where we’ll kick start our day with an authentic Italian Coffee tasting experience.
From there, we’ll stop at Mercato Centrale (also known as San Lorenzo Market), Florence’s oldest market, where your guide will help you select and taste a variety of local dishes. We’ll also visit an authentic wine shop where we’ll taste a Tuscan wine with a local sommelier. Our Florence food tour will conclude with some authentic Florentine gelato!
No visit to Florence is complete without tasting the iconic flavors of this Tuscan capital. Our local food tour is the perfect way to get absorbed in the culinary history and culture of this spectacular city.

Failure to do this might result in not being able to accommodate your needs but will not warrant a refund.
It is recommended to wear flat and comfortable shoes.
Our tours run rain or shine, and we encourage all guests to consult the weather forecast and plan your dress accordingly. In the summer months, please prepare for the heat by bringing/wearing adequate sun protection, and staying hydrated. Even if you are accustomed to high temperatures, air-conditioning is not always available in Italy.
Guests age 4 to 11 are eligible for the child rate. Any guests under 18 may not
consume alcohol on this tour. All participants under 18 years of age must be
accompanied by an adult.
